Mountain Shadow Studio has been owned and operated by Sharon Pippin-Hall since its creation over 25 years ago. Sharon managed galleries and frame shops in Missouri, Kansas and Colorado starting in 1977.

Past projects have been:
Nelson Atkins Museum - Technician under paper conservator Nancy Hugh

Thomas Hart Benton Estate - matted, mounted and wrote condition reports for 1,700 drawings

Historic Coors House and Board Room - responsible for the care and installation of the Coors collection

Framing on permanent display:
Truman Library Museum, Kansas City Missouri

Air and Space Wing of the Smithsonian Museum, Washington DC

Taught classes and lectured for:
University of Missouri
American Business Woman's Association
Embroiders Guild of Kansas, Missouri and Colorado
Daughters of the American Revolution

Currently Sharon designs an exclusive line of frames and furniture for needlework, as well as museum quality framing for paintings, prints and 3 dimensional items.

Sharon is a generalist appraiser assigned to the front desk at the Antiques Road Show.

Steve is a master woodworker and has an extensive portfolio of custom and limited production items completed over the last 20 years. He has collaborated with Sharon to produce some high quality and unique furniture pieces such as footstools, small tables and colorful small boxes and frames all with an eye towards primitive whimsy. Also tradition pieces including cabinetwork.
