Mountain Shadow Studio has been owned and operated by Sharon Hall since it's creation. Steve, her husband of over 25 years, has joined with her so together they can provide a personal picture framing and custom woodworking service with a broad range of skills and artistic creativity. The Studio has been based high in the Colorado Rockies for nearly 20 years. Sharon performs all the picture framing herself with craftsmanship skills honed throughout her long career in the industry. Fabrication of her custom handmade frames is a time consuming effort with hands on attention to detail. These custom frames have become increasingly popular as a way to display your special piece of needlework or other form of art or artifact. Steve is a master woodworker and has an extensive portfolio of custom and limited production items completed over the last 10 years. He has collaborated with Sharon to produce some high quality and unique furniture pieces such as footstools, small tables and colorful small boxes and frames all with an eye towards primitive whimsy. You can also find several tradition pieces he has made including some nice cabinetwork.
